NYC Prisoner Bus Overturns

Monsey: On the NYS Thruway Northbound Between exit 14A & 14B New York State Police are at the scene with a overturned New York City Corrections Department bus carrying inmates.

The crash occured on the northbound side of the state Thruway between Exits 14A and 14B around mile marker 25.

The bus is is carrying about 16 inmates. all 16 inmates are pinned.

All lanes are blocked.

Update: All 16 prisoners have been removed from the bus. and are currently being evaluated by EMS.

NYC Corrections ESU and RCSO are transferring the prisoners with transport vans to the hospital.

i saw a bunch of pics that looks like some of the inmates are being transported by ambulance.

In order to cut the buss off, some idiot had to pass a buss clearly marked that is is a law enforcement vehicle. Along the side the lettering C O R R E C T I O N S is at least 18' high and 10' long.
It is amazing than any this stupid lived long enough to drive a car, let alone get a license.
This has to be the moron of the year.
